Hey, you left out the super advanced megaphonic ringtones with 65 simultaneous voices.
And the vibrate alert that can shake down buildings.
And the Bluetooth kit than can pick you up 600 miles away.
And the laser.

And the price should be below $5.

ok ok ok... why it should be so incredible for you?

> Super bright TFD screen (like on Samsung v200 or LG8000)
Why not SE? and why to continue to use a poor STN screen in 2003?

> 5 MB of internal memory
But main competitor Nokia 7250 has 5MB of memory, isn't it?

> CCD 300K pixel camera with Lens protection system
New Sagem myX6 has this CCD cam and cost only 399US$...

> MP4 capture
New Nokia 6220 and Samsung P400 has this feature

> Video MMS feature (compatible with Nokia 3650 or P800)

In fact the STN screen used on the T610 is very good and very bright. The colours are vivid. And by using a STN screen you get much better battery performance compared to other screentypes. Just look at the crappy battery performance of the Samsung/Panansonic phones. After trying out the phone I have to say that the STN disadvantages doesn't seem to be present on the T610 (except the bright light problem.. but you can get around this by letting the sun light hit the phone directly).

This has been argued lots of time, and sure 5MB would be nice. But remember that the 7650 has only 3.5MB of memory and that is a SymbianOS based phone. So 2MB is pretty good. Besides what good is 5MB on memory on the 7250 when you still can't have picture caller-id.

Hmm.. a CCD camera would be nice. But CMOS camreas improves all the time and has advantages when used in small equipment. My guess is that CMOS cameras will be the majority in the forseeable future. Besides the Sagem will not be available until this fall and by then CMOS will have improved even more.

Well.. about video, it's better to leave that to the 3G phones.

they say "CCD Sensors to Overtake CMOS Sensors in Overseas Markets from 2004"

Wouldn't it be a good idea to ask to put these in for the T610, instead of the T610i, or is it too late?

Waaaaay too late. And I doubt it would be a "T610i". That would entail a software-only update. What you're asking for would be the T620.
