OK, I've read heaps of posts on using IR with the T300, but no one seems to be able to agree on what software to use! So I've got Win XP Pro and a IrDA adapter, should I use the phone monitor and sendfile, or the software thats bulit-in to Win XP? Either way, could someone explain in detail how to transfer tones and themes using IR?

I suppose your mileage may vary, especially since I use Win2000, but if WinXP is anything like it, you can probably just stick with Windows and not have to install anything else. Put the phone in front of the IR adapter and hopefully you'll get something like "Wireless Link" on the desktop. Drop your theme, sound, image, event, phonebook and game files on that, hit Yes on the phone to accept the transfer and you're set. You can also do it the other way by selecting an image or whatever, finding Send on the option menu and accepting it on the computer. Works without a hitch for me. | |
