Today I discovered http://www.5minutesaway.co.uk using my P800.
The wap version is wap.5minutesaway.co.uk.
The idea behind the website is so good for those of us with fast mobile web access (i.e. with a P800) that I thought I would share it with you guys.
5minutesaway.co.uk is a directory of services and facilities available for motorists within 5 minutes of each motorway junction, so you should never find yourself stuck for somewhere to go.
5minutesaway.co.uk provides information on easily accessible pubs, hotels, restaurants, garages and petrol stations as well as places of interest and things to do and includes detailed directions on how to get to them. All within 5 minutes or 3 miles of a motorway junction.
And because the information is listed by motorway junction you don't even need to know where the nearest town to you is.
By the way I have no financial or other interest in the site. News about it just seems worth sharing.
