T68i vs T300 |

I was looking to upgrade my wife's contract T39 for her, as she's had her eye on my gold T68 for a while now. Obviously, as the bill payer, I'll get the new P800 and she can have my T68!!
However, £250 will get a P800, where as the only other SE phones available are basically T300 and T68i, costing ca. £30 for the upgrade. BUT - am I right in thinking that the only real technological jump is from the T68i to the P800? I mean, no BT on the T300? Surely a backwards step??
What say you? Is T68 to T300 jump worth the effort, or shall I wait a while until *much* improved phones are financially accessible before I do the upgrade?

The t300 is more of a youth phone with business features removed and fun ones added.

Thanks for the response so far!
For £30 (and also by renewing the contract again, which having past 12 months is currently month-by-month) I might just go for a new T68i; the functionality is there, a T68i case will be different for me, while the missus gets the gold T68. Smiles all round - especially if I surprise her with it.
I just gotta make sure I get a decent firmware!

Against all odds id go4the p800 -its very expensive but the phone its very advanced.it can take u to 2004 but if u take the t68i the gap from now2the next year is too big technologically speaking.u ll b stuck with a 3yrs old phone by the time finish the 2nd contract.
