Tell me, anyone who purchased the full "advanced" version of 12Planet IM: Does it stay connected? Does it auto-connect? Is there a sound notification when a contact signs on? Is there a notification sound when you get a new chat message? Is it worth $34.99? Thanks!!! | |

There's very little difference between the Lite and Pro versions.. and besides, a new version has recently been released, which (i think) also has sound notifies in the Lite version.
Regarding connectivity, this is determined in your P800 / GPRS time-out settings. 12Planet will stay connected all day if you set the GPRS time-out to "never".
auto-connect? why? you have to be connected to receive IM's at all, if your not connected, people cant send you IM's..

I asked because TipicMe, even with no timeout, disconnects and reconnects all day...
