Using palm IIIxe in cradle as irda for T68??? |

This might be a stupid question, i really don't know.....but,
Does anyone know if a Palm pilot in a "serial cradle" can be used as an IRda port (For syncing with my T68)....this would be great since i wouldn't have to by a serial cable/ir thingy for my T68...
I know there are palm sw out there which can be used to send backgrounds and stuff but my Palm IIIxe is greyscale  ......
Any help would be nice.

AFAIK the Palm can't use the serial port and the ir port at the same time. I could be wrong though :-o

I meant that the Palm would somehow simulate beeing an IR port.....maybe it's inpossible?
