how many peeps got this upgrade in the uk please post this is very urgent as i am trying to get my fone upgraded and no one will do it becauese im on orange please post asap |

How do you know what version your phone is using? My phone has a sticker at the back \"R4A\". Is thir the vesion? What would be the latest for T68i?

I got mine upgraded at R's on Tottenham High Street (The home of the spurs!) I am on Voda...however I read another post that they do orange as well...it took 2 hours to do....here is the number 08707746333
EDIT:
I called R's up for you just now and they do it for organge...the problem is they are located in North London...so I am not sure if you want to go all the way there. Maybe you can send it to them

taffy: not had mine done yet but my local SC said they'll upgdate it for free and i'm on orange, their nowhere near u either (southampton) so ur best bet is to ring SE direct and ask them for a list of SCs near u, then ring the SCs to find out who'll do it for u

my closest sc is birminham but the carphone warehouse about 5min away from me has it but wont do it coz im on orange and i dont know y but i will get it done im still waiting for orang to call me but i got a feeling they wont he has until 2pm then i will be even crosser than i am now |

CPW won't do it on orange coz Orange had previously banned upgrades to Orange-branded fones coz they used their own sw versions, but this isn't the case with the P800, however as CPW aren't official SE Service Centre's it'll void ur warranty if u get it done there regardless of what network ur on. If i was that desperate to get the upgrade done i'd travel the distance to Birmingham to get it done properly m8

On the Forest Road by the corner of St. James street .
Corner of Hoe St (Chingford road) turn right to the Forest Road (A406side) and drive until u`ll see Texaco petrol station on the left hand side, so the SE shop is 50 yards from the petrol station down on the road just 10 yards before the set of the traffic light. The shop is on the left hand side and u wont miss it- theres SE sign outside! Good luck and say hello from Valentin! Theyre friendly fellas.
Upgrade taking about an 1 hour, but it depends on qew. U can wait there until its done.
