I have a T68i on ATT Wireless in the U.S. I recently found I website from a topic in this forum. It was an online server.All you had to do was buy a T28 serial cable.Connect it to your PC.Acsess the interent and follow a couple more steps.Can someone tell me if this is safe. If there is a problem will my phone still work or will it be completely broken.Please Help.I ordered teh cable but now I am having second thoughts.
Also if it did work for you please tell me how the unlocking went and what software or server to use.

it is safe, but you need to make sure of a few things first.
firstly, all phones have a limit on the number of times a unlock code can be entered incorrectly. if you enter incorrect numbers past that limit, you phone will be locked forever (unless you send it in for service).
do a search, and make sure your phone has at least 1 unlock attempt left on it. if it does, then go ahead and hook it up to the program and get the unlock code. make sure you type it in correctly when you do. and everything should be fine.
now flashing, that is dangerous. and if you would like your phone flashed, you should send it to someone with access to EMMA II or an authorized service center. |

When u connect it2pc and attempt to connect2that internet site it means ur phone will b flashed.by that,ur software vers will b replaced with a unlocked version.normally the program on that site will attempt2back-up ur phone 1st but actually u never know.so after backup,the new vers comes in and replaces the old 1.everything has a risk but i think ull b able to recover the old vers.b aware-never heard of online flashing though
