Went to SE Service Point in Sweden today for upgrade my phone. When i picked it up a couple of hours later i found that the firmware was:
Phone: CXC162002 R1D
Bluet: CXC12529 R2C
Org: CXC162001 R1G05
Cda: CDA162001/1 R2A04
Is this really the latest firmware? |

Ok, as I thought. Best thing is that the man behind the desk said that usually they take a fee of 250 skr, but they had little to do today so I got it for free... Think I’m going to visit them tomorrow again. Is it possible to update the phone with an old firmware? |

250kr for the upgrade? That's a load of bull... upgrades are free the first twelve months... just in case you hadn't heard =)

I know that the update should be free, but more and more Service Points are taking a fee i you want the phone to be updated directly. Engstöm Telecom in Stockholm is doing this and a couple of other. If you want it for free you have to leave it there for a couple of days. |
