My current FW is R2E006. I don't know if I should upgrade to the latest firmware, can anyone advise me?

My warranty is up, and I would have to pay for an upgrade. So I need to know if the new upgrade is worth it or not. Ideally I just want a more responsive menu, especially when I am accessing the phonebook, that's really too slow. Other features like communicam or mms I don't use.

Is there a significant speed boost after upgrading the firmware?

Yes,

I switched from ISP (KPN -> T-Mobile) the 006 version doesnt run with the T-Mobile Sim Cards. My Brother in Law has a T68i with the 025 SW version on it..

It accepts the SimCard. (both Phone''s are simlock free and were bought @ same place)

If it has numbers you can dail it

I'm interested in getting mine upgraded as well. From what I gather, though, SE doesn't have any service centers in the US. Has anyone in the US sent their phone in to SE for an upgrade? How's the turnaround time?
