I am encountering a problem that i never had before with trouchscreen i wonder if anyone knows what tot do or if i should just go to the Ericsson Shop here... ? :-
...Oh btw if you Don't like reading long posts its Simply about my touchscreen not working therefore i cant get into my phone...
Yesterday i graduated and before the actual ceremony i was told to switch off my phone (p800) so while taking it out it slipped and feel and the battery and its cover came off …I don’t think that anything could have gone wrong from that fall as I was already kneeling (bending) over when it fell… as it obviosly went off after the battery fell out, I decided to not switch it on and keep it off till the end of the ceremony.
I had kept my phone in my pocket all the time. At the end of the graduation someone told me they had sent me a message so I tried switching the mobile on but it didn’t work…actually I mean it switched on but the touchscreen is just not working. It takes me as far as the options menu
e.g :
1. Power On
2. Flight Mode
3. Help
..But when I want to go in to Power on or flight mode it wont go in (unless I use my Jogdial to choose the option) even then I cant type my pin code.
I have tried leaving it on for sometime as well as off as that worked with my t68i when I had experienced some kind of problem a little similar to the one I am encountering right now, but it still doesn’t work. This morning when I had brought it with me to School I realised that my Memmorystick Duoä was missing it might have been stolen when I was wondering around after the graduatoin or I might have just simply misplaced it, the thing is I think it might have been stolen as I don’t remember taking it out at all and it cant have fallen out like my stylus usually does (because its under the stylus and you have take that out before pushing it in then pulling it out…) I Doubt that would be the cause for it not working anyway because I have worked without my memmorystick in my phone before… I Think the other reasons that it didn’t work is something happenend when it fell or the humid or sweat from the graduation gown might have got in the phone though if that happened wouldn’t it have stopped all together ? I Don’t know can anyone help me out or give me advice on what to do in steps or whatever ?

Very simple, take it to a  service point. Dont tell them you dropped it, just say that one morning you switched it on and it wouldn't work. All repairs will be free if it is within a year of purchase (which it will be  )

I went and took it to the Service Centre and i got the new p800 software and that cosed me $15 but its very good they fixed the blutooth problem, and you can zoom up and get fullscreen options in the pictures area, you can also select more than one picture at a time, the camera is also alot better with added options like Night mode and delay timer and mute lens or something like that .... anyways l8a
