Good thing I got my P800 upgraded today a few nice features in it, night shot, zooming facility, multiple deletion of pictures etc etc only thing lost all my phone numbers and not sure whether or not I can do a restore from a previous back up or not, should have exported them to Outlook or something,mmmmm there was about 200 or so many with about 3 or 4 numbers each

Don't suppose you did this in the UK?
Any other improvements like the alarm going off when the phone is switched off or getting delivery reports for SMS?

Cheers

Which service point did you go to sweetheart. I'm still not decided on whether I'm going to upgrade my P800. So far I didn't have any of the problems described in this forum.

Sweetheart > I got the same problems,..error when trying to install new SW.

We tried with two P800's,..none of them worked

Dont really know why ?

There seems to be quite a lot of different problems when people have upgraded to this new software,..I know theres always some, who will encounter problems,..but this many ???
And the problems are very different,..I'm not even sure I wanna do the upgrade right now.

@bradmax

To be honest, it sounds like a fault - there's very little room for cock-ups when using BT on the P800 because you've got so few options. It sounds like it must just be a fault on the phone - worrying since you've just done the SW upgrade, though. That's what they normally do to fix things like that.

BTW, where, exactly did you get it done?

All seems to have gone smooth with my update, sync'd phone with pc and had all numbers restored via OutLook so that was cool, I then restored my back up version and that seemed to slow the system down majorly so i just resorted to a fresh start and will re-install everything manually...
a bit of a dissapointment though but the sms delivery reports still needs to be checked everytime you send a message ,unless I am missing the setting to keep it on permanantly
