Ok, my mate bought a 128mb duo over the internet, (dont know which site), for his p800. The memory stick was corrupt/faulty, and it made his p800 crash, and hasnt worked since, it just locks on the start up screen.
Sony U.K are not releasing/selling the 128mb duo, so sonyericsson u.k told him that they could not repair or replace his phone because the memory stick was not a U.K spec, i.e was meant for sale in what ever country it came from.
Probably 1 in a 1000 though.

Won't be anything to do with the MS duo. Just get the phone repaired on warranty, tell them it has stopped working. Your friend must be stupid to say he was using the 128 duo, there is no need to give such details. |

My P800 has also 'died' it won't turn on at all, just vibrates once and then nothing. Not good.
It happened when I was trying to install Handyday 2.6
I'm going to drop it off at R's Electrics in Tottenham on Sat to see what the issue is, looks alarmingly terminal to me.
