I was looking at my friends Nokia 7650 and the screens looks awful compared to the P800. It looks like an HPA / DSTN screen from the really old laptop probably since the P100s. Is it because nokia uses crappy screens ? I noticed that on all the nokia phones with colour screens. The P800's screen is totally in its own class when compared to the nokias... u guys agree ? |

Actually I would say the opposite, colors look washed out on my P800 compared to my 7650. |

so u recon the nokia screens are not of the same quality ? Or is it just thier shitty software ?
BTW, I heard that the 3650 is really good... but looks like it is even bigger than SE P800 !! What a load of bollocks
and it is SUPER ECONMY SHIT MAN ! £99
Shit hehe
I love my SE P800 even though I had it for a month already !
I think the best feature is that you can actually expand the memory as opposed to nokia phone:) |

I'm talking about the screen, how pics look on it, and pics look better on a 7650 screen than on a P800 screen.
Might have something to do with the touch screen or then it's because you can't make any adjustments on a P800's screen. |

Do not forget that the P800 has a touchscreen!! This is making the coulors a bit blue. In my opinion the P800 screen is better because its bigger.

The screen is much better on my 3650 than my P800. The 3650 has external memory. There are more 3rd party apps for the 3650. The camera was fucked on my P800 so I sent it back to se. Both phones are great and each has its advantages and disadvantages. One thing the nokia 3650 has going for it is the price you get for features. Throw in all the 3rd party apps and you have one powerful smartphone. The P800 is just as much as a brick as the 7650 and the 3650. In fact it even weighs more....157 grams compared to 134 grams for the 3650. . It doesnt make sense to say nokia is shit or se is shit. Both companies make great phones.

Before I bought my P800, I tried to compare it with 7650 and SX56
7650 -I have to admit it- has a class, but not 3650.
I personally don't like 3650, the design looks completly weird
P800 is really cool, the design is just perfect.
I know it's kinda heavy but we are talking about a cellphone that has a PDA, and a digital camera. I guess I don't have any problem with that. |

i like the 3650's performance better than the p800 though. also the video recorder is cool and it takes great pictures. p800 has no recorder yet and it's stupid that SE did not include it when it first came out. i also like the design compared to the p800 which is plain boring old school.
thanks alfa

I have owned a 3650, 7650 and currently own my brilliant p800.
I agree on what is being said that both companies make great phones.
However, the 3650 and 7650 didnt fill me pride whenever I took them out my pocket, dont get me wrong the phones were great, but not as great as the p800.
As I have said on previous posts, the p800 gives me the biggest grin, one worthy of a cheshire cat.
Personally my opinion, and I dont mean to offend anyone, is that the 3650 is a poor mans p800.

The Nokia 7650's screen is definately much better than the P800's! Its brighter and images are displayed a lot more clearly (eg. there's no pixelation with the images like u get with the P800 - u can see whole blocks of one colour on the P800 - this doesnt happen with the 7650).
This is because the 7650 uses different screen technology compared with the P800. All the colours are much richer on the 7650 - the red is a nice full red and the white especially is a bright clear white.
The P800 has a "washed out" look to its colours because of the type of screen it uses - this type of screen is A LOT more effficient with battery power so is definately worth the 'slight' loss of colour quality (the 7650's battery dies so fast compared to the P800)
HOWEVER...
That's where it ends! The P800 p**ses over the 7650 in everthing else - the P800 has a much bigger screen, it's touchscreen!, it has more fucntions, camera is equally as good (even though the P800 may look as if the camera is worse quality fit isn't - just the way it displays the images - if u send a pic taken by a P800 to a 7650 the 7650 will display it looking a lot richer and not so pixelated).
I love my P800 dont get me wrong - the only thing my 7650 had over it was the screen quality - but then whats the point on having a nice screen if u can only see it for a few hours while the battery lasts!!
P800 rulez!
