Is this upgrade compatable with an orange networked p800?
I've been told that there is a problem with the upgrade due to dodgy firmware with the orange model.
Also does anyone know if it is true that the upgrade is free with proof of purchase?

The upgrade in question is the R2A upgrade. It should be compatible with the Orange network.
R2A upgrades the phone to R2D and the organizer to R2A.
