A friend ran a master reset on her P800 and now her JOT writing recognition option is mission. She has looked all over her CD and can not find it again.
I am not familiar with the P800 yet and was wondering if this is just a file that can be installed or is it a firmware update? She has tried the langauge files at the SE Global Support section but it does not bring back the JOT.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! |

I done a master reset on my fone yesterday, my jot writing recognition still works!! Very strange problem your friend has. |

so under control panel >device > text input what do you see there does it have CICs Jotpro in the box or something else?

strange try doing another master reset or format the c: drive

My text input settings also disappeared once I installed HandyDay.
Had to configure it again.

At this screen there is "NONE", that is the puzzling part.
Does anyone have a backup that I could restore with?
