Hi yes it's been confirmed today that DVH communications of south london never did actually have the latest upgrade for the T68. Apparently they were acting upon evidence that they had seen on an 'illegal' website and were telling customers like myself that they had the mms firmware availible.
All I can say is that for an official ericsson service center telling customers 'facts' based on pure speculation is appauling and I am now glad that I didn't waste my time in going there (I feel sorry for all of those who immediately sent their phone off to them! - you'll get it back with R2B, nice)
So all of you not understanding why it was called R1D in england were well founded in their disbelieve! Obviously the people who started the rumour or the 'illegal' site didn't have the programming knowledge of you guys |
