A true world phone.....? |

First of all hello to everyone here, I'm new to this forum. I want to ask a question about buying a phone. I travel very often for work and I was wondering if there is a true world phone available? What I mean by that is a phone where I can really use in any country in the world. I'm not interested in a satellite phone though. I currently use the SE T600 which is triband of course, and it works well in most of north america... but when I went to Anchorage (Alaska), it wouldn't work anymore! I heard that triband phones also don't work in many parts of South America too. So is there a phone which will work everywhere? And if there are, can u plz give me some models as examples. Thanks for your suggestions.... |

Dont know what the system in alaska. If you travel more in the america than in europe and asia, There are 850/1900 enabled phones available for americas. You can look on T306. Quad-band world phones may be available in the near future.

what about using voice over GPRS in alaska?
or just buy a T316 its 850/1800/1900
or maby its just beter for you to use 2 phones, just switch the sim when your in coutry that doesn't support 1900
With Ericsson and Nokia gone: we must keep their spirits alive and buy JOLLA or YOTA |
