It's not BETTER... It's different..
With it you can browse several sites at once, It can open some pages which the standard one can't... It can also resume a download...(As if you wanna download something big over gprs...)
You can also use your computers internet with it...

However you can't save images with it.. This is bad. So you still need the standard browser..

Oh and don't forget small screen rendering. It's far from ideal but it often beats the alternative..

It's definitely worth downloading!

I love Opera...the only downside is that with Opera I use GPRS so much that my mobile phone bill is way high.

@ashalson

If you connect with the cradle or Bluetooth to your PC (probably infra-red also) the Opera browser in the P800 will use an already established internet connection on the PC so you can view the internet on the P800 over the PC connection.

Main use for this is with Bluetooth as you can be sat in your living room in a relaxing chair while browsing net with connection from your PC (there are lots of threads about this, look under P800 tips & tricks).

prefer opera TBH.. like the fact i can have multiple pages open via GPRS and that the website fits the screen.. horizonzal scrolling with the internal bowser can become a real pain. [addsig]
