hiiiii guys, i want ask one question abuot z1010 .
the question is: can z1010 work in network dont support 3g wcdma only supporting gsm ??

And why wouldn't it be released before 3G opens?
Surely it must be able to work on both gsm and 3G?

Cause the Z1010 is more of a 3G phone than a gsm one..its functions are catered to the 3G networks

oh thats very bad news, ditto on Swedish-mans problem, the US is quite behind in their cell phone networks...

but if I buy the Z1010 sim free, will i have probs on my at&t GSM network?

Z1010 only works on GSM900 and GSM1800 so it will not work on the GSM network in US

thanks for the info cytech; basically US users are screwed , unless SE plans to market a version operating on our GSM band also, is this possible?

i guess i'm not gonna wait for the Z1010, i'll settle for the 610
