There is a a post @ http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=21113&forum=35#post280765. It mentions stripping down the P800, why dont you PM the person to see how he stripped his P800 down!

i would assume he would want to take it appart so he can change the color of the faceplate by either painting it or buying the grey cover when it comes out and not have to pay $50 to get it installed

Well I Took it apart.... i got scared shitless there was one wire that connected from the jog dial to the pcb, i pulled on the cover relly hard and the cover came off and the wire came off i thought i was screwed but then i was able to put it back (the wire came from the top half of the phone to the bottom half)
