help with T68 logo's (orange UK) |

hi all....
can you help me, i am trying to down load a new logo on to my T68, but having some problems, im using the stadard orange uk wap service, but when i try to access the logo's all i get after the loading thing in the conner goes is the title of the logo at the top, and the same again just below.
anyone got any ideas why this is, or how i can overcome it?

Orange limit the size of Gif's on their WAP gateway, they only allow 1.5kb gifs, you will have no luck in using the orange wap service, try using a different wap provider or beam logos to your phone using IR |

I hear that the Ericsson WAP is fine for this purpose. The config for this can be set up SMSd to your phone from the Ericsson website using the configurator. Drawback is I have no idea what the call costs are using the ericsson portal rather than the orange one. It is unlikely to be included in the inclusive minutes though!
If you do this make sure you dial WAP using the correct (Ericsson) WAP profile in your phone. |
