Hi there

I have just bought a secondhand HBH-10 headset to use with my T39 and I am having problems getting it to work. The phone sees the headset ok but it wont accept the passkey (0000 in the manual). I have tried reseting the headset with the button but cant make it work. I have also tried it with a bluetooth adapter and T28 but get the same problem. Any ideas?

I used the HBH-10 with my T-39, and now the T-68,..it works fine.

Hmmm, try to get hold of the guy you bought it from. What passkey did he use ?

Second : there might be some kind of software problem with the headset,..try an Ericsson service point/center.

The passkey should be reset too, when you reset headset, I guess,... so, I would try the Ericsson service center.

(I never changed my passkey,..so this is just my suggestions to you)

Hi Aitch,

Just one thought, and if you already did this I apologise.

Did you wait for the 2nd set of beeps and then wait for over 30 secs before trying again? Reason I mention this is I tried resetting my HBH-15 but didn't wait, and the passkey hadn't reset. Reset again and waited for a couple of mins and passkey was back to 0000.

Hi Dave

Excuse my ignorance but can you clarify. At the moment I am holding the button until the red/green light flashes on the mouthpiece of the headset and then turning it off again. Do you mean I should hol dthe button longer or wait before turning it off?

Thanks for your help
