Make space for the almighty P800! |

This isn't a particularly technical post, I just wanted to share some thoughts. My P800 is still on its way, but I did have a good play with one in the store. It is obviously bigger than my T68i, but of course it does so much more, that is, the size and weight increase is "outweighed" by the benifits. I digress.... I felt my pockets with a p800 in one of them, and my keys and wallet in the other and they seemed pretty full, and I thought to myself that the P800 is an essential tool and it ain't gettin' any smaller, but how can I trim down on the rest of my everyday luggage to cancel out the extra size?....
My solutions are;
-to split my keys up into 2 sets, 1 has the keys I need everyday and the other has the random keys I have collected over time to friends' and familys' cars and houses etc. I now have 4 keys on my 1 Saab keyring that I carry around with me everywhere and its as light as a feather. (PS What is it with Italians making all the keys in the world?)
-my wallet; a simple tri-fold wallet, with various compartments and places for cash, cards etc. As the thoughts flowed, I realised that in todays cashless society, all I really need to carry on me is some ID and my credit/bank cards. The rest is just useless. The solution was obvious and simple, a card holder. (For those who dont what I'm talking about, imagine a cigar tin the same size as a credit card and only a few millimetres thin) The odd occation I have a note or two of cash, I just fold it into thirds and slide it in.
I know I have rambled on and this has relatively little to do with the technical side of the P800, I just wanted to share my thoughts on handling the little extra muscle the P800 brings to your pockets.

Lol, dont worry about it mate, i have 2 phones in one pockect; my p800 (plus it was in the SE case) and 7250 in my side pocket of my hooded jacket, and a fat wallet (full of money  ) in the other side of my jacket. The weight is balanced, and its either i'm use to it (always had 2 phones in one pocket), or that my jacket pockets are a lot bigger than yours  Seriously though, you probably just need a new jacket instead of sacrificing all those things, or wait till your phone arrives and try again.

Just dont put ur keys&the p800 in the same pocket.ur wallets wont b as fat as today:p

Just to clarify, I was talking about my trouser/pants/shorts pockets. I live in Australia and its only cold enough to wear a jacket in the middle of winter. And I never said it was a real problem, just thought I would make a change and keep things light- I'm not really making any sacrifices.
And my P800 is still on its way. Basically because it was only made available in Australia a month ago, and the carrier I use (Telstra, they're the biggest and I think the best for service + value) has a policy of fully testing a phone on their network before it is available to their shops. I hope this means that when I do get my P800, the GPRS setup and operation will go very smooth.
And you'll probably hear more from me when I get it.
