Hi,

I've recently bought a t300 on Orange Pay as you Go, everything is great, but I've put my old Orange Simm Card (about 2 years old) into it so I can keep my old phone number, the only problem is GPRS doesn't work with it, but it does work with the new simm card. Now to activate GPRS with Orange u hafta dial 156 (I think thats right) but it doesn't work, is there a way to enable it on my old simm card? I would transfer my old number to my new simm card but doesn't that cost? Also if I do, I want to transfer Orange outhere which offers 5free msgs a day, which I got ages ago before they started charging it as a yearly sub - is that possible? I would go into an Orange shop but I tend to find them less than helpful.

hi blurr

i have just done the same
i had a 4 year old pay as you go card and rang up 451 and asked for my sim to be "data enabled" for mms and gprs.
they did it no problem and sent me a few sim updates for compatability.
very helpfull service from them.

hope this helps you.

regards.
