uhm, MP3 is a pretty much a music-compression format.
try zipping an mp3 file and you'll see that it won't get smaller. |

Use Mp3Pro.
Compresses files to half size by converting them to 64Bit Mp3, but keeping the quality of 128Bit Mp3.
Still not the best, but saves on space.
