Are there any cheap unbranded memory sticks that are not by Sony?
Or does the P800 work only with Sony Memory Stick Duo?

P800's only work with the MS duo format !!...There is no unbranded duo available at present,but u never know its might be available in the near future.But having said that u can purchase unbranded full size memorysticks by scandisk or lexar and much cheaper than the sony originals...Another thing u can do is if dont wish to use the ms duo is to use the new full size MS adaptor jacket available for the P800 soon!Click on the link below.

That looks smart but in a way, a little ugly too... but it is a great idea... I think the P800 is bulky enough as it is and I don't think I will purchase that even though it is good value as that does look incredibly bulky  My friends said that my P800 is good but it IS bulky though but I don't mind as it is not THAT bulky to me  |

Arent lexar memory sticks the same stuff ans the Sony ones?
I cant tell by the pics, but http://www.lexarmedia.com/digfilm/index_ms.html looks like they are the same?
Whats so special about the Sony ones? |

It's the format, not the brand... If Lexar released Duos I'm sure they'd work. |

Size and shape. Duos also use a slighly different internal structure. |
