Does the P800 seem to be fairly solid? I was thinking of upgrading to one but I have just scrapped a T68 because it developed a fault which could not be repaired. Everyone I know who has a T68 has had to send it back for hardware repairs at least once.
Thanks.

The Achilles heel of it, is the same that makes it so desirable, the big screen.

The phone itself is very solid. Obviously the flip is in danger, being the part that can stick out... There's no antenna to poke you in the stomach when on a belt clip though (thankfully).

I'd say that the screen is much more at risk if you remove the flip, so I've left mine on. Yes, it looks cool without it, but unless you're very careful, or keep it in a case it is going to be at risk, but this is the same for any PDA on the market so I wouldn't let it detract you from buying a P800.

There are several screen protector products out there, but I've not tested any myself.
