Has anyone had success with this? I have a P800 and Billionton USB adapter with the latest software on XP. I can use all bluetooth services on the phone fine (audio gateway, bussiness card exchange, dial up networking) but when I go to use Serial it gives me this error message "The Bluetooth Serial Port connection failed: The remote device closed the connection" my bluetooth firmware is R2C, is this something that can be fixed with newer firmware? Or is there a workaround? By the way the same setup worked fine on my T68i all the time.

you need to upload new driver from billionton and everything would be fine!

no, unless Ive missed something this is not true.

The error is common to all bluetooth users, but clicking OK will let it connect.

Search the other posts for a more detailed answer.

If you bother to read my post I said I'm using the lastest software, it makes no difference. Also clicking OK doesn't seem to help, I've searched other posts there seems to be no definte answer

So you can't find a post at all then?

Funny... Ive seen millions.

You need to set your P8 to allow connections, pair the two and then you just OK the error, then get the connection.
