What's the likelihood of SE dropping the price of the P800 in the next few months? I've been thinking about getting it sim-free, but can't justify paying paying the huge price at the moment. Do people think the prices will fall by the end of the year?

Prices will probably drop when the new models come out late May or middle of June but not that much. SE's have a reputation for having a higher resale value, unlike Nokias.

@artful

you should just wait for the price to drop then get it. all prices drop eventually. SE has a high resale price but very difficult to sell unlike nokia's which are very easy to sell and most of the phone retail shops consider nokia to be their bread and butter.

Donīt you mean unlike Nokias?
My 8310 took three hours to sell, my t68i 3 weeks, and it was a friend of mine who bought it, my ads didnīt get much notice.
Personally i think that around December this year the time will be right for buying p800, price will be more decent and i guess fw will be 15 versions higher than now
Not that i want one though.. was v close to buying one but reconsidered.
