Hello,
I am in the process of buying this phone from someone in eBay. Can someone tell me if the phone comes with the handsfree in the box. I talked to the seller and he says there is no handsfree in the box.
I am under the impression all mobile phone comes with a handsfree. For those of you who has either the GD87/GD88, please verify this info for me before I make the purchase,

Interesting. I would think every mobile phone nowadays comes with a handsfree. The specification says something about desktop handsfree, what does it mean?
Does it have a speaker?

my friend bought one from at&t and there is no handsfree included in the box as of now but when it becomes available they will give it to her. yes it has a speakerphone or desktop handsfree.

Thanks for the info. I didn't know AT&T markets the GD88 also. |

at&t has a promo but i don't know if it's ongoing. you can get the gd88 at $150 from the original price of $499 i think after rebate but with line. check a local at&t store or third party dealers for more info

they are still basically the same. GU for north america, GD for asia, eu

GU87 is for the US market, correct? From the panasonic.com site, it says this phone also displays Chinese characters? Does it mean one can input Chinese characters as well?

Yap it supports speaker phone, GD88 support chinese that's all not much different from 87, it's quite a good phone to me just that quite tedious to use |
