On the t68i, u can do fixed dialling and call barring so u cant phone international numbers etc, is there anyway of not accepting calls from certain numbers. For example, u can not accept calls from anyone or from a list, but can it be done the other way round, with a list of numbers that u not accept calls from?
Also, in the restrict calls menu, wots the default password? |

Unfortunatly you can't stop calls from one number - or if you can it's not something you can do on your handset, maybe your network provider can.
One thing I saw someone do though was assign a silent ringtone and turn vibrate off for a caller group and then add people he didn't like to that group...then when someone you don't like calls you, it doesn't make a ring sound or vibrate and eventually they will give up.
Just a thought...you could always have it out with someone and hopefully they won't phone you after that.

This may sound sick but ive tried it...if ur really not in a HURRY, try unlocking it by doin all the possible combinations...0000-9999. Iv had this experience with my gfs unit. She owns a t68i as well. We placed bets 4 me to manually unlock it. Took me 2 days! Good thang she set it just to 4878! It wud probably take 4 days 2 input all combinations. My fingers went numb though. Nevertheless, I WON! WATDYA THINK? :-D

I think you're lucky it doesn't lock itself out after x number of attempts, like a PUK...
You may have been single if you'd bust her t68i!

Ooops, sori peeps. Posted a wrong reply. Nwei, i got the same prob too, whats the default restrict code? Thanx! @JALU worked that one out with her phone lock code not with the sim code...it wouldnt work with a nokia unit though coz afta 10 wrong tries, even if u had inputed the right phone code...the unit wouldnt recognize it anymore. U hafta turn off the unit 4 u to input the correct code again. These wer all based from my experience.

hiya. yes call barring is being done by your providers. i experienced it with my boss' phone (but its a nokia unit). if i dont know anything, and no one (that i know) can help me, and frighten to lose any configurations on my phone, i call my provider. im from the phils and it works for me. they are willing to help as part of their customer service program. hoping in your countries, it will work too. =) |

There is a way to do it in the T68I but it may not be what you are looking for. The way to do it is go to calls>manage calls>accept calls>accept options> select from list. Then it is going to tell you the list is empty and add to list. You have two options add from phone book or groups. When you select either on you have to add them manually on by one from these two options. When someone calls that is not on the list the phone will read the number on the display for a second and have busy below it. The caller will be routed to your voicemail if you have it or depending on your service provider a recording or a busy. This is the only way I have found to do it in the phone yet. The other way is to find if your service provider can do it which is very unlikely. Good luck! |
