I can't send emails via GPRS but I can recieve them. When using dial-up, everything is fine. Any idea? |

You'll probably find that the ISP that provides your smtp (outgoing mail) server has restricted it so that you can only use it if you are connected to their network. This is very common, as it prevents ISPs smtp servers as open relays for people to send spam.
I'm assuming that when you say the dial-up is working, you are dialling up using your ISP, hence why it will work fine.
Only way round the problem is to find an ISP without these restrictions.

could be that but its more than likely that if you connect via gprs you must use the mobile phone companys server for outgoing mail ie for orange uk this would be 193.35.131.155
as opposed to using the same number as the incoming server ie freeserve uk-195.92.195.154
its a common mistake if you can recieve you can normally send you just need the right info on the phone
hope this helps |

It was not alowed to send mail from IP range that we have on GPRS on that particular mail server. Now it is fixed... |

I got errors on sending until I put my email addresses in <>s eg instead of just foo@bar.com and it worked great. YMMV.
