yea I agree the P800 is better than the 7650 ... jus imagine .. when u pull down the slide of the 7650 to dial numbers and make calls ... whoa ... the idea of putting opened 7650 near the ear ... or am I wrong that 7650 isn't that way ? On the P800 well I think after u remove the flip u will still be able to call by using the touch screen ? wont that be much much less bulky than the 7650 ? |

Hehe!
What I meant what that the design on the P800 looks to cheap. The colors looks to childish, like a play-cellphone for kids. What about making it in crom or alumunium. The weight will go heavilly down. A little more expensive though, Ericsson have enough money to sell it at the same price, but with better material.
Personally I like the design on the 7650 better. But as said earlier on other threads I'm getting tired of being betatester for Nokia phones. They have to many bugs, and it's the same things containing in the phones (except for the 7560 though, which is totally new).
I think the P800 is much, much better on the inside. But, not on the outside, as I said. Well, the keyboard looks unstable though. I think Nokia have thought of that, and made it better than it looks on the pictures.
I have to test the P800 before I buy it. I think it's to big too. Maybe I'll wait for further phones after the P800 one. I really want a new SonyEricsson phone (after the T68 is "dead"). No, no, not Nokia anymore for me. SonyEricsson will lead the market very soon.

I have to say something more.

Look at that comminuty picture of the 7650. It lookes like a very big phone, it almost looks silly. Like a walkie talkie. I though the 7650 was much smaller than that.
Maybe the P800 is better after all. |

7650 doesn't look that big. Of course T39 looks big (even silly) when the flip is open compared with for example 8310. |

If I should choose between the 2 phones I would pick the P800. Simply because it's a Triband and I need that because I travel alot between Canada and Denmark. Why Nokia wont make Triband phones I dont know, but it's a bad move on their side! |

Cadcad => Try to use even some sense in your posts. Ericsson has never been the best and still isn't. Ericsson's mobile phones have been a drag for the company for a long time... I think they're really glad at Ericsson for the fact that Sony bought Ericsson's mobiles. They actually got rid of a sinking ship... |

Sorry but i think Nokia wins the beauty contest here it looks more richer looking and classier ok its not a tri-band but the god damn flip thing on the P800 looks like its ready to fall off at any moment!!! |

Yeah I think the 7650 looks better also, but I think thatīs because of the crome colour that gives it a more classier look!
John about the flip on the P800 I agree that it looks as it will fall down but donīt forget that you can take it off and then the P800 will look better and will be more light that the 7650!
As for the 7650 screen, it looks also better because itīs plastic/glass covered and the P800 couldnīt be covered because itīs a touchscreen, donīt forget that!
In my opinion I prefer the P800 because itīs a better phone, with better functions and it wont look HUGE when the keyboard is open like the 7650 because it can take the keyboard out!
And after all I prefer SE abouve Nokia anyday!
Thay could make it in diferent colours though!

I have to agree with you on that one. But I think their getting slightly back on track-if they can solve their SW problems and start delivering new models with nice look and even nicer inside so may they be No one. But there are still a "few bumps" on the road to cross
