Some wap-services/places,..have this.

You get these "pushed messages" from the wap-site.
It can be updates, news, new wap-configurations, and so on.

Works a bit like, when an operator/provider sends you a sms-message with info.

BTW : there are two kinds of messages :

one in text/sms message, where there is a hyperlink to the wap-site/service.

and one called "updates/info", you can see in the wap-browser.

I guess you have to check out the wap-sites website,..to find out if they use Push-messaging ?? but I honestly dont know ?

I THINK that this Push service still is in it's infancy. But it gives a lot of possibilities - mail and news can be pushed down in your phone i think. Which sounds great to me.
