Phoned the local  Service Centre in Brighton (UK) today. The latest firmware version they have for P800 is R1D.
This is the version i already have.
What has happened to the 7/4/2003 release of a new firmware? |

However, no UIQ 2.1 or MIDP 2.0 from what I can see.

WOW, thanks for the info... On pg.19 it talks about
"updating the P800 by DOWNLOADING over the INTERNET via the Sony Ericsson Update Service" -basically, flashing the firmware, RIGHT??
This would be really COOL if they actually make it happen!! I know there have been some threads regarding this... but this is official? SE documents (although it's just a White Paper)...
I guess time will tell |
