I used the Sony Ericsson configurator to configure my p800 for WAP/GPRS... everything worked great (I use T-Mobile here in Los Angeles). The weird thing is, however, that while I can access the T-Zones WAP site through the p800's Internet application, I can NOT access the site through Opera.

The address is wap.myvoicestream.com, but when I put that into Opera, it never loads a page-- when using the p800's Internet application, it's fine.

Any ideas why this might happen? Other pages load into Opera just fine...

For anyone about to ask, why bother with T-Zones, the simple answer is that it's the easiest way to get my AOL Mail. (And for anyone who wants to know why I still use AOL, don't even go there! hehe)

Thanks,
Axel

I don't think Opera supports WAP. Anyone sure of this?

Well have you tried just getting the url for aol mail without going through t-zones. Most of the T-zones content isn't on their site, but rather just directs you to that conect provider's page. Anyway in this case AOL Mail work by visiting this address (well I at least got the login page.

http://doolittle.aol.com

The whole address started out as http://doolittle.aol.com/Doo?u=http://voicestream.aol.com/wml/index.psp%3fsid%3d(my phone number)&sid=(my phone number)

All that extra stuff is just for them to track where the users are coming from and such.
