Hi everybody.

Has anybody succeeded syncronising a t310 phone with ms outlook or other ? ( How did you do that ? )

I also have a t68i, that i perfectly plug and sync. via irda with sonyericsson soft.

When i try to do the same with my t310, the phone is not recognized.

Whereas i can exchange ringtones, vcards and backgrounds beetween the 2 phones via irda.

Any ideas ?
I am actually waiting for answers to these questions i directly asked to sonyericsson webhelp.
Because at this time they have not released any software specific for the t310.

AFAIK, it is not possible to synchronise (to send only what changed, that is) the T310 with your PC, for they simply left out the instructions from it's firmware
therefore every program (eg written for T68) which tries to do that will fail
you can download to whole phonebook though (in vcard format), and send it back without any program
hopefully, somebody will release a program specially written for T310

Yes i have the same problem. I have a T310 and the Software (xtndconnect) just doesnt work. The whole reason I got this phone was so I could sync with Outlook and now im told i cant do that.

Is there at least any software that allows the numbers to be backed up????

Cheers

Syncrhonization is never mentioned in the product specs or sales brochures.

You can manage the phone book by sending all business cards to your computer by IR,creating a single .vcf file, and use Outlook Express (and then Outlook) there. This serves the backup purpose for sure.

Phone Book -> Advance -> Send All

Now a really important update:
the new (R3) firmware of T310 not only contains a fully implemented calendar and notepad, but also has the sync feature!
Just a quick (and free) refresh at the local mobilephone office, and you can use the sync programs for T68 and outlook

where exactly can we download the firmware (R3), if i'd go to shops, it might just cost me too much.. shops' services here are so expensive. like one time i asked a shop on how much wud it cost to unlock the nokia 3510, they said 300Php, though the only thing they do is calculate the DCT4...

unlock is quite different, and understandable to charge for it. On the other hand, sw upgrade should be free (so it is in Europe) at least if the phone is still in its warranty period

Can the R3 310 firmware update be installed on a T300 ? I think they both use the same hardware and resources..., the T310 has a new look and new games,,,
