Just spoke to SE here in the UK about a software upgrade for T68 and they said at present there is no plans for any upgrade to make it the same as T68i !!!
On the other hand when I questioned the woman about the T68i she had to put me on hold to find out if there was a T68i !!! |

The link at IT-avisen says different. we can uppgrade our t68 to t68i in the nearest days!
why cant they yust agree? It sucks to wait like this without knowing whats up in Sonyericsson HQ! |

I guess mms-upgrade is available when they get i-model to shops. (I wonder when that's gonna happen...) |

The T68i will be in Shops quite soon, I guess, maybe this week. About the SCs and SE's policy: Looks like they're quite in trouble joining their companies. My SC complained that it was a pain in the a** to get any info from them at this time...
I'll call em again today. I want that update... |

Called Ericsson Norway HQ a minute ago, and they told me the SW will be released when the T68i-phone is shipped out later this week. And when I said that someone in Sweden and Denmark have upgraded their phones, they said that that was not possible, because the updateSW is placed on a central server that all SP are going to download from, and that the update-SW is not on the server yet...
But I really hope it's out now, and that Ericsson Norway HQ is wrong...

You never can tell with SE... 
I have already seen that people in Berne didn't give software out when the guys at my place (only 50 km between) would...
So... Maybe some people are just not interested in getting that update, coz that would cause a lot of work for them... Billions of updates to do... |

I don't know if this helps, but I'm sitting @ a SE workshop right now and checking.... I hope to get an answer within 10-20 min.Btw I'm repairing these phones for a living
