T68ie has the chinese language while the t68i has whatever language except the chinese.Thats the only difference it has.

I heard that it also has more internal memory and a higher capacity battery. Is it true?

In uk phones meant for use on orange usually get an 'e' added to the end of them. For example v70e, T39e, GD87e

maybe Orange want to make sure that their phones work right not like o2 and vodafone who are quite happy to let anything on their network and sod the customer when it all goes wrong. And I like the Orange logo.
