well although the p800 is a "pda" i think when THEY say PDA they mean the real PDAs, the ones that have the Pent 4 chip and windows...i cant recall seeing too many of those that have a camera and are a cell...so, to the best of my knowledge it really is the FIRST REAL pda/cell/camera phone in that sence

I owned an iPaq H3870, and it was definetly more advanced than the P800. However, the Pocket PC IS is still quite slow and unreliable (although it pretty good) and the handhelds they produce are enourmous in both prize and size compared to the P800. |

Samsung i700 :-
Processor: 300MHz XScale
Running Pocket PC 2002 Phone Edition
CDMA 1xRTT; 800/1900MHz
0.3 Megapixel Digital Camera Onboard
3.5" 16-bit Color TFT
64MB RAM (RAM) / 64MB ROM (Flash)
Weight: 5.6oz
Dimensions: 5.2" x 2.75" x 0.7"
Battery: 1100 mAh Lithium Ion
The 400Mhz XScale actually runs PPC slower than the older StrongArm 206Mhz Processor by about 30-40%. |
