Hi Guys
Please help! I cannot hear when I receive my SMS's on my T68i. I have looked through the forum and cannot find any advice to change the ringtone. I can only change to Click tone etc... Please help as I am desperate. I migrated froma Nokia 9210 to a T68i and Palm Tungsten T.. It was a GREAT move and I'm very happy with my phone except for the sms alert.!
Regards

Sorry to bring you the bad news but the soft SMS alert tone cannot be made louder. This is a well-recognized shortcoming of the T68i.

True, however R6A and R7A make the message alert NOTICEABLY louder. |

I think that the signal stays the same after upgrading.

the best way is to activate the vibra.

it indeed got louder at one point in the firmware upgrade chain... though it is still relatively soft for other people. the best way is to use vibra... that's the purpose of having a vibrating alert. |

The upgrade does make it a tad louder but not significantly so. As lopio mentioned, just activate the vibrator, makes a difference when the phone's in your pocket or placed on top of a hard surface. Small price to pay for such a great phone:-)
