Why did SonyEricsson make a new T68 (T68i)? |

I can think of one reason why the want to relaunch a "old" model once again.
They wanted to mark the most popular phone today with the brand "SonyEricsson". They have replaced the cover and removed the typical \|/ opening for the loudspeeker.
You can still see from which company the models come from.
Ericsson: T68i, T206, T62u, T61z
Sony: Z700

That's going to be my guess too.
Ericsson already has the experience in the mobile phone industry, while Sony is in the gadgets and stuff.
The giveaway between instantly differentiating between models would probably be the design on the earpiece with the Ericsson keeping the /// while SonyEricsson seems to be preferring the rectangular thingie.  |

The T68m design looks a lot better than the T68i. I like the label SonyEricsson of the T68i though. BTW, when will the T68i reach the market? Thanks!

The T68i will be out by next week! Maybe not EVERYWHERE in Europe, but most places! I don't understand them either! I know that they're going to PISS off MANY people and I'm sure they're going to lose lots of respect and clients! I stopped using /// when I bought my T28 for 800$ and it dropped to 200$ within 4 months...
I gave them a second chance with t68...now they've F*CKED UP!!!!
I hate them! 
All you hear is the T68I being the best phone, the FIRST phone with MMS, ...
Well if  didn't f*ck up, t68m would have been the first one, like they promised!!!
Laffen, shouldn't we write a letter to them about THIS? Maybe they'll do SOMETHING, they can't turn away from all their clients and I'm sure we all have the same opinion....
