About the CSD settings: try this number |

I think I saw a post here on the CSD setiings and what number to dial in the US.
In the CSD settings, try to have it dial this: *99***1#
I am in the USA, and I'm on T-Mobile's network. So far this has worked for me when connecting to the internet using dial-up on my iPaq 3975, while using the P800 as a bluetooth modem.
But, I got nothing but frustration when I tried using that number and also *99# when I was trying to get my POP3 email from the phone's messages menu..Makes me wonder!

Hi there I just came across your post and was wondering how you have setup your ipaq to use the p800 for dialup via bluetooth. I have the exact same set up as you and would like to get it working. could you guide me through this? |

Actually, that's not a CSD number. That "number" is shorthand to tell your phone to use GPRS and emulate a dialup modem to the PC. So PC to phone looks like dialup but phone to network is GPRS. That's why it works when an external device tries to use a dialup connection. But the phone is smart enough to know that *99* isn't really a dialup.
