any news about MIDP 2.0 upgrade for the P800???
I can resist everything except temptation(P800)..

There is an upgrade due out this or next week. I have not been able to find a definative answer yet as to wether this is an upgrade to UIQ 2.1 (and thus MIDP 2.0) or not.
Some people seem to have an pre-release of firmware R2D which seems to have new stuff, but I have my doubts it is UIQ 2.1.
I did hear from someone that UIQ 2.1 would be september!!! I would hate to think it would be that long, but... sods law it will be. |

2 days ago I talked to the SE consumer support in Sweden.
He told me that the UIQ 2.1 would be out this or next week...

Could you please check with your cantact, if this upgrade will contain MIDP 2.0? I am desperate to know this, and have not been able to find any decent contacts for this information in the UK.
