You must have the special ericsson number to unlock the phone. It's very hard anyway, Why don't leave it to the police? ?

Hey it's me again well leaving it to the police would be the best way to have it sit in a drawer for a few yrs cause they too lazy to find owner {cause that's how it is here sometimes} or find it back in a shop for sale cause somebody sold it.I guess my friend will wanna keep it for himself or whatever i don't care .I would really love to know how it works to unlock the phone i mean i have one as my own same phone and yes it is a TDMA but if anyones knows how to do it and is willing to share with me then that would be greatly appreciated.
Stay cool everyone

ok try this for TDMA sonyericsson's u press either 987, menu
or u key in ##7764726#, SEND then u go into a special menu and under lock code u will see the special code that locked the phone, u have a choice of changing it or keeping it.

cheers.

Take it to the service provider and let them find who the owner is. If it is a TDMA phone it will have an ESN number that you can see when you remove the battery from it and its on a label. Chances are the already called there service provider and had the ESN banned from being activated on a new account so you cant do any thing with it anyway if they have done that. The service provider should have a way of finding the customers information by the ESN and can contact the owner.
