The phone is not SE branded because it's not a SE phone. Its a Sony phone. Two seperate companies.
But yeah, it doesn't make a whole heap of sense overall :\ |

Can that be real? You stated it will run Palm OS, but I find that hard to imagine. And does it support graffiti input with a stylus?
Well, maybe there is a market for Palm OS phones, considering all the existing Palm softeware. But I would definitly NOT want a Palm OS phone. |

I guess it has something to do with the fact that Ericsson isn't a well know brand in Japan. It would be unwise to use the SE brand in Japan considering it's a major market for Sony. Wouldn't wanna scare off the customers there now do we? |

Yuck...
to the guy who said Japanese ppl are scared of Ericsson... that doesn't make sense cause SE has launched 3 phones there already - which are only sold in japan with docomo, featuring the Sony Ericsson brand. |

Well then, I hope this means that there's still hope that Ericsson can come back and sell mobile phones under the Ericsson brand again as well. (Maybe they'll buy out Neonode and soup up the N1 ) |

Did you not hear what the guy said?
April fool.
It is a photoshopped version of their latest phone for KDDI in Japan.
