Hmm isn't there an anniversary function in the calendar already?
Or do you mean something else? |

No, there isn't. None of the anniversaries from my Outlook are copied across after synchronising - very annoying! |

I know about setting up the appointments as reoccurances on Outlook... that's why I refered to them as Aniversaries (birthdays etc)
What I'm maoning about is that it doesn't sync it across to my P800.
Before you tell me otherwise, yes I know that if you set up new 'all day' events, and set them to re-occur 'yearly' they do show up on the P800, but always overlap onto the next day.
A straight-forward 'Anniversary' function common to all PDAs is what I need.
Would this be added in future firm/software upgrades?

Please find SE's answer after the following email I sent them.
When I input one regular work number, one cellphone work number, one regular home number, one cellphone home number, one home fax
and one work fax. When I synchronize with Outlook, only 5 numbers are going to appear in Outlook. The cellphone home number disappears.
When I synchronize again, the work cellphone number which went under "mobile" in Outlook is translated into a second cellphone home number.
That means I have now 7 numbers in my contact on the P800. 2 numbers are going to be the same (cellphone work number and cellphone home
number)! The P800 still keeps the previously recorder home cellphone number though...
Obviously the fields don't match. Any plan to fix that bug? Also, any plan to support the birthdays? They were supported on the R380 and the T68.
Thank you.
We have now received an answer from Sony Ericsson about this:
******************************************************************************************************************************
This is according to spec and will not be changed. Thereīs a limitation in the Symbian OS (the P800)
that does not allow this. This will not be changed in future releases.

Iīm sorry that this wonīt be solved. Thanks for reporting this. We will now close this case.
If you have any further questions, please donīt hesitate to contact us again.
