Hi,
i am wanting to upgrade my phone in the weekend to the lastest SW version. Please could you advise me if the store backs up everything personal. I am going to the Carphone Warehouse.
Do i loose my

notes?
anything else?
Thanks in advance,

I have been told by that you will lose everything that you have entered, eg only things left will be what comes in it as default.
and I got told to do the backup myself.

Yes!!! Lopio, I forgot about that, anything on your SIM will be fine as they dont even take it, they made me keep mine, but that was cool as I was going to put in my backup phone anyway. |

got it upgraded to R7A finally.
Everthing was still on my phone. Not one piece of info was missing. All pix, tones, notes... ... ... I was so happy because i couldn't afford the equipment to backup my info.

yeah, i got it done at the CPW in belfast and EVERYTHING was still there. They did say to me that everything would be lost but no.
Also i did check to see if the had indeed upgraded properly.
