will this be coming out on GSM - if not, why are we always stuck with the bricks  (T610)

No I dont think it will come out with a GSM version since T608 is similar to T68 except physical appearance.
I have been waiting for this phone, and ironically, I prefer T610 better and have been very envious at you GSM people with all the access to different model of SE phone  | |
